NFDA supports increased DVLA services

The director of the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) has voiced her organisation’s support for the DVLA’s extension of online services. The Authority has made it possible to retain and assign a registration number online, a feature for which the NFDA has previously campaigned.

“The NFDA is delighted to see that more DVLA services are being made available online,” stated Sue Robinson. “The NFDA had campaigned hard for this measure, and it is positive to see it being fully implemented. There are now three online services, allowing users to tell the DVLA about the sale of a vehicle, take a registration number off a vehicle and put a registration number on a vehicle. All have good take up rates, according to DVLA Digital Services. The online services have been made available in addition to paper transactions. We look forward to further shifts online from the DVLA, with two more services expected to become available in June.”
