BEN London to Paris 24 hour cycle challenge

BEN is calling for keen cyclists to complete its London to Paris 24 hour challenge to help raise funds for the automotive industry charity.

The closing date to register for the charity event, which will see the cyclists cover 240 miles in just 24 hours, is the end of March.

Among the entrants who are taking part are Frank Massey, director at Automotive Diagnostic Solutions, Mark Hadaway, editor of Bodyshop Magazine and Stephen Brighton, managing director at Hepworth Honda.

Massey said: “My aim is to raise support from all my friends and contacts within the independent sector to reach a minimum target of £2,000 to aid this great and diverse charity.”

Participants will need to raise a minimum sponsorship of £1,000 and provide a registration fee of £99 to cover transport, accommodation, food and drinks.

Bekki Chandler, BEN’s events executive, commented: “Thank you to everyone who has signed up for this exceptional challenge. There are still places available and I would love to hear from anyone who is up for a challenge with a difference.”
