Ceat aiming to offer the right product for every driver

Indian tyre maker Ceat asserts its commitment not only to expanding production capacity at its Chennai plant but also to halving its carbon footprint by year-end. Presenting itself as a trailblazer in the adoption of sustainable production processes and products, Ceat highlights its EcoDrive summer car pattern as a “clear statement in terms of environmentally friendly driving.” The company emphasises that the EcoDrive’s low rolling resistance not only ensures heightened fuel efficiency but also underscores its dedication to eco-friendly initiatives.
At the same time, Ceat remains steadfast it its mission to offer “the right product for every driver and every requirement” with its summer tyres, which are tailored specifically for the European market. In addition to the EcoDrive, Ceat’s summer range comprises several other models. Among these are the SecuraDrive, characterised by a high level of driving comfort and large safety reserves, and the SportDrive, positioned as a tyre that offers “more driving pleasure at high speeds.” Moreover, at the start of the year, Ceat introduced the SportDrive SUV. This tyre gained a ‘satisfactory’ rating in the latest Auto Bild tyre test for SUVs and 4x4s. Van drivers have the EnduraDrive, which Ceat credits with “excellent driving behaviour” and “extreme durability.”
According to Ceat, these tyre lines are now available in all popular dimensions.
