Marangoni: production and logistics are operational

Marangoni covid-19 update The transportation of goods falls under the “proven working activities” clause of current government restrictions and is therefore not subject to limitations of movement

Marangoni has confirmed that its production and logistics activities are “running smoothly in all…plants” despite the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak in Italy.

Writing in a statement published on 11 March 2020, Marangoni representatives said: “We are therefore able to receive and process the orders while adopting all the necessary procedures to protect the workers’ health. In particular, our company is taking all the actions to be consistent with the measures provided by the responsible Authorities.”

The transportation of goods falls under the “proven working activities” clause of current government restrictions and is therefore not subject to limitations of movement. As a result, drivers are continuing to deliver and/or withdraw the goods.

Furthermore, Marangoni reports that production personnel and employees can get to work without any limitation for these reasons as well:

“On our premises, all the visitors and drivers are asked, first of all, to address themselves to the reception, and then, to comply with the behavioural norms that will be communicated. We thank everyone for the collaboration and we point out that your ordinary contacts remain available through the usual communication channels.”
