CAM has improved its Investors in People (IIP) accreditation, gaining silver following its recent inspection.  IIP said the higher classification is based on the company’s commitment to flexible working, leading to excellent customer service and support, clear performance targets aligned with a commensurate reward scheme; its investment in continuous professional development in a complex technical environment; and sustained involvement in corporate social responsibility.

The assessor continued to be impressed with the company’s focus on the customer led by the managing director, citing the respect and flexibility shown by the talented team towards its end users as well as internally among colleagues.

Leading the IIP process, CAM operations director, Ryan Naughton, says, “The board of CAM fundamentally believe that it is essential in business to treat people correctly and fairly, while assisting with progression and development to ensure the customer remains the key focus of the company.  The continued dedication and passion shown by the team to achieving the silver standard of Investors in People is testament to their commitment to drive the positive ethos of the business, and ensure CAM stays at the forefront of the tyre industry.”
