Become a tyre tester in Metzeler contest

German motorcycle tyre brand Metzeler is offering motorcyclists not only the chance to win a set of new supersport SPORTEC M7 RR tyres but also to become an official tester for Metzeler.

The Metzeler test rider competition is online until September 15 2014 and motorcyclists can participate by accessing both the Metzeler website and the dedicated app on the Metzeler official Facebook page. The competition is divided into two different phases; the first part of the contest is called “Photograph, vote and win!” (closes June 15) and has two elements of participation.

Firstly participants have to register online through the test rider application on Facebook or the Metzeler website by uploading their own photo. The picture should illustrate the theme “Show your passion for the motorcycle”, signalling the machine they ride and, optionally, including a description of the uploaded photo.

All images deemed valid will be evaluated by a jury according to relevance of the proposed theme and originality. Participants who have proposed the 20 best entries will win a set of SPORTEC M7 RR tyres for their motorcycle.

At the same time, it will be possible for all users who visit the Metzeler website and official Facebook page to take part in the voting for the contributions. All those voting, after registration, will be eligible for an ‘Instant Win’ and have a chance to win one of 20 Alpinestars backpacks branded Metzeler SPORTEC M7 RR.

The final part of the contest is called “Buy and Win!” and runs from June 16 to September 15, the winners of which will win an all expenses paid trip to Europe’s largest motorcycle Show – EICMA in Milan. All those who buy a set (front + rear) of new SPORTEC M7 RR tyres (in the period May 15 to September 15) retaining proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) and registering via the website or Facebook app to the Metzeler test rider contest will be eligible for this final prize. Entrants have to insert a photo of the receipt as proof of the purchase of the product and leaving an evaluation of the purchased tyres.
