Tyres & Accessories February 2013

Date: 27th February 2013 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

In the February issue of Tyres & Accessories, as well as all the latest news, developments and product releases, we focus on Van Tyres and TPMS technologies. Subscribers can view their own virtual edition online by simply clicking more.

Light commercial vehicle tyres

Van and other light commercial operators place particular demands on their vehicles – and their tyres. Therefore a specialised segment catering to these specific needs has emerged.

In our robust, kerbing resistant February feature, Tyres & Accessories presents the latest tyres aimed at light commercial vehicle operators.

TPMS/Diagnostics

The label may have been the industry’s number one topic in 2012, but the year also saw the introduction of regulations covering Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems; as of last July, all newly-homologated car models must have TPMS fitted, and in 2014 this will be extended to cover all new cars.

Next month we cover this important subject in a feature that also includes diagnostic systems and equipment.
