BEN reveals Motorcycle Rally 2013 route

Date: 17th January 2013 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Following the enormous success of last year's inaugural event, BEN has revealed details of the route for its 2013 motorcycle rally. Between the 22nd and 25th June, entrants will embark on a ride through four countries to reach the second highest road pass in the Alps and one of the most challenging routes in the world – the Stelvio Pass in Italy.

Motorcycle enthusiasts will not want to miss this unique experience. Reaching 2,757 metres, the Stelvio Pass has no fewer than 60 hairpin bends and breath-taking views en route. Heart pumping action awaits all riders.

The entry fee is just £475 per bike and covers accommodation for two people (sharing), ferry crossings, breakfast and evening meals. No minimum sponsorship is required but BEN anticipates entrants will want to raise as much money as possible to enable the charity to help maintain its amazing support for thousands of automotive industry employees and their dependents annually.

Kelly Neal, Events and Exhibitions Manager at BEN said “This is a truly unique riding challenge which will not just be a fantastic personal experience for everyone involved but a gratifying way to raise funds for BEN, enabling us to offer help and advice to industry colleagues in times of need. BEN really does make a difference to the welfare of so many people.”
