Falken to exhibit new ZE914 amidst range at Reifen 2012

Date: 20th April 2012 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Following the launch of four new tyres to the European market in 2012, Japanese manufacturer Falken says will continue to reflect the changes of original equipment requirements as it develops its tyre range – a message that it will transmit via its booth at Reifen 2012. Falken told Tyrepress.com that it continues to experience growth in the passenger car market, and its movement into a number of growing niches includes the new flagship Azenis FK453 and innovative Ziex ZE914, both of which will be displayed. Alongside those, Falken’s WildPeak off-road tyre and the FK453CC, a tyre specifically for the European performance SUV market, will also take prominent positions.

“As the OE vehicle parc changes so will our tyre range to reflect this,” says Isamu Ishida, Falken Tyre Europe’s managing director. “The performance SUV sector is a good example of how Falken is developing much more targeted tyres that will optimise the performance for more sectors.”

Falken says it is continuing to invest heavily in Europe with recruitment for its headquarters just outside Frankfurt, increasing resource for both commercial and technical support in the region.

“We have taken on more development engineers this year as we tune our products to suit European needs and provide better technical support to a rising number of OE customers,” adds Ishida.  “With growing support for our distributors and a growing number of outlets stocking our tyres, 2012 is looking extremely positive.”
