Wegmann appoints Iberian sales manager

Date: 27th March 2012 Author: Admin Comments: 0

Wegmann automotive has appointed Esteban Urgel as its new sales manager for the Iberian region. The company says the appointment represents an increase in its efforts to spur “rapid growth in European countries outside Germany”. Urgel took up his post, covering Spain and Portugal, in February.

“Mr Urgel is a real expert on the automotive aftermarket within the Spain and Portugal region, so we are delighted to have him on board,” says Thorsten Thom, managing director at Wegmann automotive.

Urgel has an extensive track record in the automotive aftermarket, most recently acting as after sales manager for one of Spain’s leading suppliers of freight vehicle trailers. Whilst at the company, he played an instrumental role in the development and expansion of its central after sales service.
