Win "Piece of Automotive History" as BFGoodrich "Fan"

Date: 1st November 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Michelin’s BFGoodrich brand is giving its Facebook fans a chance to win a “piece of automotive history,” reports Tire Review. New or existing fans of BFG’s page will be eligible to win an actual wheel and tyre assembly that was bolted onto Travis Pastrana’s Subaru for his recent record-breaking feat, signed by Pastrana himself.

In September, Pastrana conquered the Mt. Washington road in record time in a Vermont SportsCar-prepared Subaru on BFGoodrich g-Force Rally tyres. Filmed for the “Red Bull Speed Chasers” project, the historic climb was completed in 6 minutes and 20.47 seconds, according to the company.

This contest in honour of the accomplishment will exclusively be held on the official BFGoodrich Tires Facebook page and will run from 29 October through 19 November. To enter, log onto http://on.fb.me/bgftire and “like” BFGoodrich Tires to sign up to be eligible to win. Already existing fans also will be able to enter the giveaway by signing up at the Mt. Washington tab on the BFGoodrich Tires page.
