Infinity Continues to Develop Brand alongside Large Manufacturers in Hall 3

Date: 1st July 2010 Author: Admin Comments: 0

The Infinity brand was presented as part of a 240sqm island stand (shared with its manufacturer Shandong Linglong) situated within Hall 3, a fair indication of the global ambitions explained in previous articles (“Infinity Aims to 'Go Deep' with Fast Growing 'Premium Budget' Strategy” on tyrepress.com), since this was where many of the world’s largest manufacturers also placed their stands.

Infinity focused on exhibiting its range of passenger and truck tyres, positioning its products as “premium quality economy tyres”. Infinity is now distributed across five continents and in over 60 countries, and according to company representatives, Infinity sat “comfortably” amongst the tyre world “giants”. Representatives also opined that the brand “has been taking some massive steps forward recently.” Evidencing this, they explained that distributors recently met in Bangkok to discuss the next phase of the brand’s development and to share international experiences. In addition to extensive trade press advertising, sponsorship and distributor support programmes, Infinity has just relaunched its website with increased functionality.

Infinity reported a “very successful” Reifen show as an opportunity to announcing its status as “a highly regarded quality brand”. The brand “received expressions of interest from many potential new distributors… from South America, Africa and Eastern Europe. Enticed onto the stand by both the portfolio of tyres and patterns available from Infinity – and by the presence of the Infinity Girls – there were several significant new business enquiries which will be developed over the next few months,” said Infinity, while the stand facilitated a number of business review meetings with existing distributors.

Infinity Partner meetings were held with distributors from Poland, Israel, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Hungary, France and Germany, while the Infinity brand awareness programme, with its increased activity over recent months, resulted in “a very busy stand.” Infinity also held a Gala Dinner on the Thursday evening at the prestigious Sheraton Hotel, hosted by the founders of Infinity, Al Dobowi executives Surrender and Harjeev Kandhari, alongside manufacturer Shandong Linglong’s president Wang Feng .

Martin Lumb, sales manager of Infinity Tyres (Europe), commented: “We have been delighted with the whole Reifen experience – we were in the right Hall, we were able to meet with our existing distributors and also able to introduce the Infinity brand to some very interesting prospective partners.  We have already committed for Reifen 2012, with a larger stand and an increased presence for Infinity.  Welcome to Infinity World.”
