New Sales Manager to Lead Infleet Business Development Plan

Date: 27th October 2009 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

The Infleet network is unfurling a new business development plan, and on board to spearhead its progress is recently appointment UK sales manager David Tattler. The tyre industry veteran will tackle his new role with the support of a state of the art management information technology system being introduced by Infleet at its new Cannock, West Midlands office.

In his new position Tattler can draw upon the wealth of experienced gained through more than three decades at Goodyear Dunlop. Tattler’s time with the tyremaker was spend in numerous strategic roles, including senior management positions in the retail sector, national fleet business and, more recently, original equipment sales to commercial vehicle and trailer manufacturers in the UK and overseas.

“Infleet has vast tyre service experience and coupled with my own background we can offer first class advice and service support,” said Mr. Tattler. “This does make a real difference to the customers who choose to partner us. I am really looking forward to my new challenge.”

“We are delighted to welcome David to the team and his vast experience will enhance and support our business growth,” added Infleet managing director Bill Hall. “Our valued customers will also benefit from his advice and assistance.”

Infleet is now well established as a tyre service provider both in the UK and, through its European service provider, in 28 different nations on the continent. The Infleet call centre is managed by the RAC and its commercial division, RAC Commercial Vehicle Assistance, and provides assistance for members and corporate customers. The company can thus benefit from the RAC’s reputation and presence in the UK motoring world – as Bill Hall states, the RAC “is the ideal partner to help us handle the additional complications of breakdowns and accidents.”

Retaining complete independence as a tyre service provider has been important to Infleet, and the company states its main focus is service rather than a particular brand of product. “We provide service for many tyre industry organisations, fleet customers and specialised applications needing bespoke arrangements,” Hall continued. “And with the support of all our trading partners and our state of the art IT management information programmes, we believe that we can offer one the most comprehensive tyre service support packages in the industry. All underpinned by our extensive geographic coverage.”

The company offers car, van and truck fleets a round the clock service every day of the year, and can also provide an industrial tyre service if required.
