Dog Deflates Police Tyres

Date: 1st September 2009 Author: Admin Comments: 0

'Dog bites man' might not be a newsworthy story, but how about 'dog bites tyres'?

In Cumberland County in the USA, Deputy Lynn Lavallis was called to investigate reports of a dog that was chasing a girl on a bicycle, trying to bite its tyres. She found nothing untoward, but when she parked her vehicle on the driveway of Gloria Bass, Bass’s pit bull attacked the vehicle, puncturing all four tyres. Lavallis was unhurt; ”The dog didn’t try to attack the deputy. He just doesn’t like tyres,” explained a police spokesperson.

A set of four new tyres was trucked out and fitted and Ms Bass can look forward to receiving a bill for $504.60 – the cost of the operation.
