Pirelli Tyres Top Which? Test

Date: 7th March 2008 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

It was double success for Pirelli recently, when the Pirelli Cinturato P4 and the Pirelli P6 achieved the highest scores in the 2008 Which? magazine tyre test. Which? tested two sizes of tyre: 175/65 R14T, typically fitted to superminis, for which the Pirelli Cinturato P4 was the overall test winner and 195/65 R15V, fitted to popular medium/large cars, where the Pirelli P6 achieved the joint highest score. The tests consisted of seven disciplines; dry braking, dry handling, wet braking, wet grip (straight), wet grip (bend), wear, noise and eco rating. Each tyre performed well across all disciplines, resulting in Pirelli being awarded the Which? “Best Buy” status for both sizes.
