Classic Fans get a Taste of Marangoni

Date: 7th December 2006 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Marangoni tyres were showcased at Birmingham’s recent Classic Car Show after the tyre maker reached an agreement with the publisher Octane Media Ltd. The publisher, who produces both Octane and MG Enthusiast Magazine, opted to fit Marangoni Zeta Linea tyres to the centrepiece of the MG Enthusiast stand – their MGF project, the subject of a free-to-enter Prize Draw competition.

The tyre manufacturer’s presence was also visible on Octane’s stand, with information on the current Marangoni tyre range and details of the company’s half-century and involvement in the classic car movement prominently displayed.

Marangoni’s global sales and marketing director for car tyres Derek Carruthers, who jointly planned the display with Octane Media’s Geoff Love, said that the Classic Car Show “provided an ideal platform for building brand awareness in a market that is not only highly discerning, but also uncompromising in terms of quality, value and performance.” He added that he was “delighted” with the response to Marangoni’s presence at the show. sg
