Centrum Claims OE Quality Products

Date: 22nd October 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Centrum International Ltd. is a new name for Tyres & Accessories, but as a newcomer in the sector we thought it was right to let the market know who’s out there now. According to the company, Centrum is “a young and dynamic auto garage equipment manufacturer.” The firm, which was founded in 2004, is based in Hong Kong with production facilities in China. Centrum’s production factory facilities are located in Yingkou city in China’s Liaoning province.

As you will have noticed – considering this is feature solely on lifting equipment – the company produces car lift technology, which is marketed under the “Repair Concept” brand. However, in addition to this firm makes tyre changing, wheel balancing and hydraulic jacking equipment as well as air impact wrenches, socket kits and other hand tool.

OE supply

According to company literature, Centrum’s factory in Yingkou city, Liaoning province is fully equipped with “the most modern machinery available.” This means automated production processes and “the capacity to meet almost any OEM order.” No details of exactly who the company’s OE customers are have been revealed as yet, but they are said to be the kind of names people would recognise: “Major auto manufacturers around the world rely on us to satisfy their products requirements on time and at the
best levels of quality…Our research and development operations are closely linked to OEM orders: new ideas and specifications are often received from customers and we work hard to meet their requirement.”

Third party research suggests the company exports around 90 per cent of its production. Centrum points to TUV and CE accreditation as an indication of the level the company operates at.
