Michelin Power Cup moves to Cadwell Park

Date: 4th May 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

The second round of the 2010 Michelin Power Cup moves on to Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire this weekend (8-9 May) following the first round at Snetterton last month. The riders will take their places on the grid to compete in the 600 and 1000cc classes and take on the demanding 2.25 mile circuit, which includes the infamous Mountain section where riders can get airborne at high speeds.

Early series leaders Simon Gardner (600) and Scott Shand (1000) will be looking to continue their clean sweep of the podium top spots from the last round and extend their lead in the points’ tables. In addition to the racing, Saturday night’s hospitality at the Michelin truck will include the prizegiving from the previous round at Snetterton, with the prizes supplied by Alpinestars, Arai, Michelin, Putoline and Race Products.

The meeting will comprise three 12 lap races over the two days, with one race on Saturday and two on Sunday.
