Snap-on Equipment Business Development Manager

Date: 5th April 2006 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Snap-on Equipment has appointed Alan Wood as Business Development Manager for its range of Hofmann and John Bean wheel service equipment. Mr. Wood has over 25 years’ experience in the tyre service industry having worked with companies, including Kwik-Fit, Supertracker & Beissbarth UK.

Said Chris Pleass, Sales Manager at Snap-on Equipment: “Alan’s role is a new position that we’ve created within our corporation to meet the increasing demand for our premium wheel service equipment. Recent developments such as lead-free weights and run-flat tyres, as well as the increase in wheel diameter sizes, means that customers need to make sure they purchase the right equipment and accessories. And since we have the largest wheel service equipment range in the UK – 14 tyre changer models, 15 wheel balancers and 10 wheel alignment systems – we’re certain that we’ve got the right product to suit every customer’s need”
