Chinese Tyre & Rubber Exhibition Goes Annual

Date: 9th May 2005 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Tyres & RubberTech China was first staged in 1998 and has been held every other year. Now, in response to demand from exhibitors and visitors, it has been decided to stage the show annually and the next event will take place in Shanghai from 9 – 11 November. The organisers estimate that the 2005 show will cover 10,000 square metres.

In 2004, there were 164 exhibitors, 43 of whom came from outside China, and 8,071 visitors. Of these visitors, 1,293 were from abroad, coming from 39 different countries. Tyres & RubberTech China is sponsored by a number of associations, including the China Rubber Industry Association and the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. Sponsors outside China include the Rubber Associations of Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

Further details are available from the organisers, China United Rubber (Group) Corporation, who can be reached by e-mail at xwy@chrubber.com.
