Mahle introduces air-conditioning compressors range

Mahle Aftermarket has launched a range of air-conditioning compressors under the Mahle Original brand, covering all top applications in the UK aftermarket.

The launch further cements Mahle’s expertise in the air-conditioning market, as the company offers leading HVAC modules to guarantee professional maintaining and compressor replacement and, CareMetix cabin filters, which ensure the compressors continue to deliver top performance over a long service life.

Causes of air-conditioning compressor failure are due to incorrect installation, insufficient oil or refrigerants, leaks, damage, contamination and, moisture in the air-conditioning circuit.

As a result, the new Mahle Original range has been launched against several key criteria such as superior cooling performance, durability and reliability, comfort for the driver and, high quality support and service to parts distributors and technicians.

At the heart of the vehicle air-conditioning system, the air conditioning compressor is typically driven by a v-ribbed belt. The compressor circulates the refrigerant in the a/c system and – when operating properly – ensures that the optimal temperature is maintained in the cabin.

In relation to air-conditioning service units, Mahle offers the ArcticPRO range, specially designed for refrigerants R134a and R1234yf and offers an ecological, economical and efficient A/C service solution.

Meanwhile, protecting the A/C system is the CareMetix cabin filter range, helping to prolong the life of an A/C compressor by protecting the A/C system against contamination, irreparable damages and even pollen, soot, mould, bacteria and nasty odours.

Jonathan Walker, Mahle Aftermarket UK managing director, said: “Mahle has further expanded its leading position as an original equipment manufacturer in vehicle cooling and climate control. The automotive aftermarket will benefit directly from this and can rely on our experience and expertise.”
