ITMA tyre test partner Tread expands development capability

ITMA technical partner, Tread Ltd, reports that it has invested in expanding the services available to members. The company’s permanent test fleet now includes a magazine standard VW Polo to sit alongside its existing VW Golf, meaning that test and development of all standard tyre sizes is even easier. Furthermore, two additional vehicles, a UHP test car in the form of a new Golf GTI and an updated version 3 Touareg, now allows testing on tyres from 17 up to 22-inch and in the standard magazine sizes.

To coincide with the recent vehicle upgrades and hardware developments by Race Logic, Tread has also updated its instrumentation to provide more accurate test results and development feedback.

ITMA announced that it had appointed TREAD as its technical partner back in February 2014.
