The Blend 2025 invites garages to summit Snowdon this October for charity hike
14th August 2025Garages across the UK and Ireland are once again invited to lace up their boots for The Blend Social Hike 2025, this time tackling one of the most iconic routes in the UK: Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in the stunning Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Set for Friday, 3 October, the adventurous loop promises spectacular mountain views, meaningful conversations, and the chance to raise money for industry charity, Ben.

Guizhou Tyre produces 1st tyre at expanded Vietnam plant ahead of Q1 2026 start
14th August 2025It’s just over a month since Guizhou Tyre produced the first tyre in its expanded Vietnam plant after completing the site’s Phase III intelligent manufacturing project. Following this “historic moment” on 10 July, the facility is preparing to enter operation with a capacity to produce six million passenger vehicle radials a year.

NTDA awards finalists named
The NTDA has announced the finalists for its 2025 Tyre Industry Awards, which will be presented at a ceremony sponsored by Sailun Tyres for the 12th consecutive year during the association’s 96th annual dinner on Thursday 9 October at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Milton Keynes. The dinner is, once again, sponsored by long-standing NTDA supplier member, and Tyre Industry Awards supporter, Maritime Cargo Services.
