Grouptyre UK are currently seeking a highly motivated sales professional to support their sales activities ranging from account management, prospecting, general support through to business development in the southern region of the country.  The successful applicant will have a proven track record of achievement in sales with good planning and communication skills.  The candidate should have worked within the automotive sector either in the tyre industry or aftersales VMA channel in a managerial position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account management ensuring existing commercial relationships remain advantageous
  • Managing customers’ expectations/ requirements
  • Prospecting/targeting of new business in all market channels
  • Work with multiple shareholders supporting regional/local sales development, prospecting, training and support

Personal Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales management and account development
  • Ability to adapt, work under pressure and as part of a team and independently
  • Forward thinking, good work ethic with a can do attitude
  • Good negotiation, communication and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of B2B and B2C platforms

Business Development Manager

Oak Tyres UK Ltd is one of the UK’s leading suppliers to the Fast-Fit industry and an industry leader for imported exclusive tyre brands, including Davanti, Landsail and Evergreen. With a turnover in excess of £90 million and an ambitious growth strategy, this role is highly suited to an individual with a desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

As Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager, and will be assigned a territory within the County of Yorkshire to manage relationships with customers and develop sales of the company’s house brands.

Duties include:

  • Management of all existing and prospective customers across all sectors (including car dealerships, independent tyre shops, and national equity chains)
  • Managing and building relationships with customers to ensure highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times
  • Close liaison with the telesales team to address any issues, customer requirements or sales opportunities.
  • Promotion of the company’s house brands and the growth of our dealer networks for the companies exclusive brands.
  • Managing communication of information to customers relating to promotions and rewards programmes
  • Call reporting on companies CRM package

 Basic £30k to £31k depending upon experience

+ bonus OTE £40,000 per year

Regional Sales Manager – Midlands and South West

As Regional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will report directly to the Sales Director, and will be assigned a territory across the Midlands and South West. We are looking for an individual with the self-motivation to make a real difference in driving forward sales of Davanti and other nominated brands across the assigned territory.

We are seeking a highly determined individual capable of quickly building sustainable relationships and delivering on the businesses growth objectives.

Duties include:

  • Working alongside our distribution partners to jointly grow sales of the Davanti brand and other nominated brands.
  • Establishing a quality network of key dealers for each of the brands across the assigned territory by actively seeking and engaging with target accounts across all business sectors.
  • Assisting with the training and development of both our distribution partners and the key dealer networks to ensure the highest levels of long term engagement with the brands.
  • Identifying and engaging with potential key accounts across all business sectors to drive business into our distribution network.
  • Active involvement in key UK events to increase the brand awareness and dealer engagement.
  • Working with the sales and marketing teams to continuously develop and promote the brands offers to the market to drive increased sales.

Director of Business Development

Vaculug Technologies is looking to grow its family by adding a Director of Business Development responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities.

This is a brand new role within our family which has arisen due to business growth, and presents a rare opportunity for someone to shape and define our approach to client acquisition. You will be building up a small team of experienced business development professionals and you will be responsible for new client acquisition reporting in directly to the Managing Director. You will develop and implement a strategy for targeting key clients, and lead the pitch and proposals process to win work.

Collaboration is key to the way we work at Vaculug. You will need to build relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate effectively to ensure a slick and impressive pitch process.

About You

The successful candidate will be a confident, charismatic and commercially minded person with a love of driving and winning new business. Someone with a minimum of 20 years industry experience is a pre-requisite, and you will need to have a minimum of a University degree. You will have a strong track record of building relationships at C-suite and securing large scale projects with global brand clients.
