James Stopps joins PCL as Area Sales Manager

Pneumatic Components Ltd (PCL) has appointed James Stopps to the position of Area Sales Manager in charge of its South region. Stopps joins the company from consumables and fasteners supplier Würth UK Ltd, where he managed a team of 12 sales consultants and over 1,800 accounts for the automotive division, growing the area by over 20 per cent. In his new role, Stopps will facilitate end users to engage with PCL’s portfolio of tyre inflation and compressed air products, assisting partners to increase brand awareness and supporting business growth for PCL’s distribution network.

Introducing its newest Area Sales manager, PCL says James Stopps will draw upon his business acumen and expertise in prospecting new business and is looking forward to strengthening connections with existing distributors whilst also extending the company’s network. “My strength lies in building effective customer relationships and utilising these to create sales and revenue,” says Stopps. “I will be supporting current partners to flourish as well as taking PCL to new distributors.”

Family feel

Stopps, who will soon be out of the road, shares a positive initial impression of his new employer: “There’s a real family feel about PCL; they really look after their staff.
