Spartan selects ROC as branch network grows
Spartan Motor Factors has grown its branch network with the appointment of its 13th site in Tredegar, Wales, selecting ROC as its first line supplier of springs.
Opening early October, the new branch stocks 500 ROC coil springs, offering garages in the local area high vehicle coverage, all of which is supported by a wider stockholding of ROC coil, leaf and gas spring references at Spartan’s 45,000sqft Newport Hub.
Spartan Motor Factors is one of the fastest growing parts distributors in the UK. Wyn Jones, Sales & Marketing Director explains the company’s success so far: “We’re putting the fun back into motor factoring with personalities and the ability to make quick decisions. The market has become too complicated. We’re a motor factor, we move boxes – we don’t complicate matters and customers appreciate our simplicity and the values we employ.
“The ROC springs brand is widely known in the area and we’re delighted to be an exclusive supplier of it – it’s an easy product to sell because of its quality, technical support and high availability.”
ROC coil springs are produced using superior grade spring steel at ROC factories, where state-of-the-art computer-controlled machines ensure the highest quality standards.
Each spring is subject to an advanced zinc phosphate and epoxy powder paint surface treatment, providing longer life to the spring by minimising corrosion.
ROC offers parallel wire springs (constant thickness) and both parallel and tapered wire options where the original spring is tapered, giving customers and installers more choice.
ROC produces matching quality parts according to BER 330 and 461, all springs can be fitted without warranty restrictions. ROC products hold the same quality of those of vehicle manufacturers, and can therefore be used by authorised repair workshops without warranty restrictions.
As a ROC stockist, Spartan Motor Factors is offered a bespoke, bi-annual range re-profiling service to ensure their ranges are continually updated with the best-selling references, meaning the most popular springs are on the shelf and ready to go.
