Tyre Pile Fire In Dartford

Eight crews of firefighters spent three hours tackling a blazing 15 tonne pile of tyres in a breaker’s yard in Dartford. The fire broke out at 2.30am and the firefighters battled to prevent the fire spreading to cars in the yard. No-one was hurt in the blaze, which was finally extinguished at 5.30am.
