SmarTire’s shock at Unauthorised Stock Listing
The news that SmarTire Systems was one of 200 companies that had its stock listed on the Berlin-Bremen Stock Exchange sent shock waves around the company. CEO and President, Robert Rudman, was “totally surprised and alarmed” by the revelations as in fact, SmarTire had not authorised listings of any kind. “We intend to follow the lead of other companies listed on the Berlin-Bremen Stock Exchange, all without prior authorization, in demanding both de-listing and evidence of who was ultimately behind the unauthorized listings” Mr Rudman said.
In response the company has instructed its lawyers to issue such a letter. Furthermore, SmarTire is considering taking measures against the brokerage firms responsible for the unauthorized listing. .
