Valeo has recently unveiled its autonomous, electric delivery droid prototype at CES 2020 in Las Vegas. The Valeo eDeliver4U was developed in partnership with Meituan Dianping, China’s leading e-commerce platform for services, which operates popular food delivery service Meituan Waimai.
The new 2017/2018 edition of the Clutch catalogue dedicated to passenger cars and LCV applications for all Valeo Service aftermarket product ranges has been released.
The catalogue presents the full Valeo Service offer consisting of more than 3,000 transmission products among which clutch kits, DMF, passive hydraulic actuation and spare parts. The catalogue covers clutch applications from the Volkswagen Golf I to the latest Mercedes A Class or Citroën DS3. Valeo Service offers one of the widest European car park coverage of clutch products and the range keeps increasing as Valeo Service launches more than 300 new products per year.
Valeo Service has released 24 new references for major Volvo car applications since February 2017. Those new Lighting Systems references feature applications for the popular XC 90 models.

Valeo has announced the 24 teams selected to move onto the second stage of its global competition, the Valeo Innovation Challenge. Selected from a total of 1,628 participating teams by 70 Valeo experts and independent scientists, the 24 semi-finalist teams hail from 13 countries across 23 universities and schools.

The Valeo Innovation Challenge’s fourth year has set a new record for participation. Nearly 5,000 students from around the world have signed up. In all, 1,628 teams (21 per cent more than the previous edition) from 80 countries and 748 universities have submitted their application in one of the two available categories. Some of the world’s most prestigious universities are represented, including MIT, Berkeley, HEC, Supelec Tokyo University, British Columbia.
