Yorkshire Industrial Tyres is introducing the combination of UniSerV Call Logging implementation and CAM International’s e-jobsheet app system to its Barnsley site to streamline its processes following the success of the system at its sister company, GW Tyres, in Wakefield.
CAM is embarking on a mentoring programme for its UniSerV users over the next six months, consolidating its major investment in both the platform and to the UniSerV User Group forum over the past five years.
Morecambe-based TRS Tyres is to become a UniSerV user and a subscriber to e-jobsheet, the open-access, digital tablet-based service work platform for truck, bus and van, to enhance its commercial tyre service operations. The agreement means that the operator will be able to introduce time savings and efficiencies into its business to reduce costs as well as improve service agility and operational visibility.
CAM will present new fleet audit functionality on e-jobsheet at the seventh UniSerV User Group (UUG) meeting, on Thursday 12 October 2017 in Milton Keynes. The presentation will bring to a close six months of development to ensure end-to-end integration into UniSerV for fleet management purposes.
Commercial service provider Barry Shaddick has moved from stand-alone e-jobsheet user to a fully integrated solution based on CAM’s UniSerV platform. The company, located in the south-west of the UK, has invested as the next step in its systems development to provide greater professionalism and connectivity in support of its tyre service work across its commercial depots.
CAM has committed to “major investment over the next 18 months” during the sixth UniSerV User Group (UUG) meeting in Birmingham. The systems provider said new investment would “ensure commercial service providers maximise their efficiencies and gain incremental business opportunities” presented through its new fleet management enhancements and system reporting tools.
Fleet maintenance and breakdown specialist Tyrenet is the first dealer network to implement CAM’s UniSerV V7.2 platform. The platform will connect Tyrenet to other UniSerV users that are fully integrated with e-jobsheet as well as standalone e-jobsheet subscribers via the TiDaeX online hub.
SE Tyres has introduced CAM’s UniSerV platform. The company said the introduction of the software is designed to improve operational efficiencies and offer business enhancements for its fleet and commercial service operations. The incorporation of UniSerV will improve user work flow, mobile fitter work, stock visibility and integration to third parties, helping SE Tyres to maximise its business efficiency and sales growth.
Nicks Tyres has gone live with CAM’s UniSerV software as part of the business’ investment in operational processes across its depots. The company said the new software will help increase productivity and efficiency as well as assist in the continued provision of a reliable service to its customers.
TyreWORK has become the first commercial vehicle and tyre management service provider to go live with the new UniSerV platform from CAM. Extended with e-jobsheet, CAM says the platform features improved “operational agility”, and increased “administrative efficiency in data processing from the field.”
The growth of R&J Strang Services’ fleet contract business is being supported by field data gathered via integrated digital tablet feeds, the company reveals. These were introduced by CAM as part of the tyre service provider’s investment in the UniSerV platform.
Bridgestone Europe’s senior manager, automated inspection and systems development commercial product, Neil Purves, recently called for the tyre industry to engage with e-jobsheet, the open digital tablet platform, as a way of securing efficiencies, receiving data more quickly and maximising support for customers. His advocacy for the system came at the recent CAM UniSerV User Group 3 meeting held in Birmingham ahead of the NTDA awards dinner on 1 October 2015.
The third UniSerV User Group meeting, hosted by CAM, will take place at 13:30 on 1 October at St John’s Hotel in Solihull to coincide with the NTDA’s annual dinner. All three UUG meetings have now been scheduled alongside existing, important industry events, the first having taken place alongside the NTDA’s 2014 dinner and Brityrex in Manchester, and the second beside April 2015’s CV Show in Birmingham.
ATS Euromaster has been contracted to provide tyre support for all 28 buses operated by OmniServ that provide transfer services between all Terminals at Heathrow airport. OmniServ is also adopting a complete Michelin tyre policy.
Micheldever Protyre has used CAM’s UniSerV software technology to manage its growing truck business over the past four years. Now it plans to integrate e-jobsheet, CAM’s digital tablet-based service work platform for truck, bus and van. The software will allow it to capture job data accurately, increase its business development opportunities and process transactions speedily and accurately, CAM says.
