Randstad, via its engine decarbonising brand TerraClean, is sponsoring both PP Motorsport in the UK Clio Cup and double British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) champion, Colin Turkington for the second year running.
According to Renault Sport, leading names from the Renault UK Clio Cup are predicting increased speeds and closer racing through the championship’s switch to Michelin tyres in 2017. Multiple title-winning team Pyro Motorsport, three-time champion driver Paul Rivett and 2016 race winner Paul Streather have all praised the Michelin tyres after testing them.
Michelin will return as official tyre supplier to the Renault UK Clio Cup next year following four seasons of Dunlop tyre supply. The switch back to Michelin tyres brings the UK championship in line with international Clio Cup competition – as of 2017, the French tyre maker will supply all Clio Cup championships around the world, including those held in Benelux, Bohemia, Central Europe, China, Italy, Spain and Sweden.
TerraClean is exhibiting at Motorcycle Live 2016 at the NEC, Birmingham in Hall 4 on stand 4E15 from 19 to 27 November as it launches its campaign targeting the motorcycle market.
