Dmack ‘delighted’ after securing first WRC podium

World Rally Championship tyre supplier Dmack secured its best ever FIA World Rally Championship result and first podium at Rally Poland. The Carlisle based brand’s Drive Dmack team lead for the majority of its 70th WRC event; Estonian driver Ott Tänak and co-driver Raigo Mõlder finished second after a dramatic final day. Dick Cormack, Dmack managing director, said: “It’s certainly been a weekend to remember for everyone at DMACK. We’ve been striving to compete at this level and this event marks a real turning point for us. Ott and Raigo have stunned everyone this weekend with their pace and the result has driven our enthusiasm to reach the top.”

Vatanen aims to maintain pole in Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy

Competitors in the 2015 Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy will aim to put on a real show for spectators from all over Europe when round two of the series takes the 11 crews to Poland next weekend. Max Vatanen won the competitive season-opener at the Vodafone Rally de Portugal in May after topping the field in half of the 12 tough gravel stages, though the lead had changed hands several times earlier in the weekend.

Drive DMACK leading WRC 2 as it seeks 2014 repeat in Poland

The Drive DMACK World Rally Team will return to Poland in the hope of a repeat of its first ever one-two victory. Jari Ketomaa and Ott Tänak romped home at the top of the WRC 2 class in 2014, and next week’s round seven of the FIA World Rally Championship, will see Ketomaa return alongside Sander Pärn at the wheel of the team’s two Ford Fiesta R5 rally cars. Topping the championship standings, the Drive DMACK team is on track to defend its WRC 2 Teams world title and both drivers will be hoping to capitalise on the ultra-fast, smooth gravel roads in Poland.

Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy 2015 to feature new car, expanded line-up

Dmack has launched the 2015 edition of its Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy with a new car and an expanded line-up at the Autosport Show 2015. The series for emerging rallying talent is driven by tyre manufacturer Dmack and rally preparation experts M-Sport. It is competed over six rounds and five FIA World Rally Championship events, to which Dmack has been a tyre supplier since 2010.

Dmack tyres achieves ‘one of most successful’ global rally weekends

Tyre brand Dmack achieved the most successful motorsport weekend of its short history in July. The firm’s gravel tyres, manufactured by Shandong Yongtai, helped secure victory at a number of high-profile international championships. Drive DMACK World Rally Team crew Ott Tänak and Raigo Molder won an emphatic and popular home victory at Rally Estonia – a round of the FIA European Rally Championship. Tänak has hit a run of good form for the Drive DMACK team, having previously claimed 25 WRC2 points in Poland.
