The TVR Car Club (TVRCC) has named Avon its preferred tyre brand. As part of the new collaboration, Avon Tyres’ long-standing relationship with British sports car manufacturer TVR will be celebrated through a number of joint initiatives, while TVRCC members are eligible for a discount on Avon tyre purchases.
Dunlop has been appointed official tyre partner to UK-based series the Junior Saloon Car Championship (JSCC). After extensive testing and evaluation the championship, which provides motorsport for young adults between 14 and 17 years, has announced a switch to the Dunlop Direzza tyre.
Motorsport tyre firm Dmack has become ‘Official Tyre Partner’ to the Tour European Rally (TER). Having downsized its World Rally Championship participation this season to concentrate on both product development and core sales, Dmack says this partnership with TER will “allow it to connect with rally competitors across a broad range of abilities and vehicle classes.”
Automotive fashion house Kahn Design has designated the Cooper brand its first ‘Official Tyre’. Cooper will be the tyre of choice for Kahn’s Range Rover and Jeep model offerings, with Kahn outfitting vehicles with the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro POR, Discoverer S/TMaxx POR and Discoverer A/T3 Sport. In addition, select vehicles from Kahn subsidiary Chelsea Truck Company will also be fitted with Cooper Discoverer A/T3 Sport tyres.
Liverpool FC has a new global partner and official tyre partner. Following the end of its arrangement with Maxxis, which began in 2009 and concluded at the end of the 2016/17 season, the club has entered into a multi-year collaboration with Falken Tyre.

Bridgestone Corporation has become a Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Gold Partner after concluding an agreement with the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. In addition, the company will support Japan’s national Paralympic team, starting this year with the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games and covering both the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games in South Korea and the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
BFGoodrich is the new official tyre supplier for the Red Bull Global RallyCross (GRC) series. The Michelin brand commences immediately in this role in preparation of the 2016 season’s opening race following the signing of a multi-year agreement covering both the Supercar and GRC Lites classes.

Pirelli will be an official “motorcycle tyre” sponsor of US championship the Monster Energy AMA Supercross for the 2014 to 2016 seasons and sole tyre supplier for the Toyota/Yamaha/JGRMX and BTO Sports-KTM teams. By signing a multi-year agreement with championship promoter Feld Motor Sports to be an official sponsor and through its support of riders Josh Grant, Justin Brayton, Andrew Short and Matt Goerke, the Italian tyre maker hopes to enhance its brand profile in the North American market.
