When it comes to choosing the most suitable tyre for the winter months ahead, Firestone declares that its Multiseason represents the most compelling proposition for motorists. It is, in the words of Firestone brand manager Stuart Attfield, the ideal “halfway house” to combat the unpredictable conditions so often encountered in the UK.
It’s been about a year since Bridgestone began its relaunch of the Firestone consumer tyre brand in Europe with the introduction of the Destination HP SUV, and this has now been joined in the Firestone portfolio by two new ranges, the Multiseason and the Multihawk 2. The first of this pair is particularly significant as it marks Firestone’s entry into the growing all-season tyre market.
Visitors to Bridgestone’s stand at the Geneva motor show would have seen Firestone branded products nestled alongside their Bridgestone cousins for the first time in many years. Amongst the Firestone range shown in Switzerland was the brand’s first all-season tyre, the Multiseason.
