F4 supplier ATS starts partnership with US Racing

As of this season, ATS is exclusive wheel supplier to the Formula 4 championship. The Superior Industries-owned brand now announces it has also entered into a partnership with US Racing, the race team belonging to former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher. Under this arrangement, ATS will cooperate in testing carried out by the team.

ATS Wheels confirmed as official wheel supplier for 2017 DTM season

Alloy brand ATS Wheels, distributed in the UK by Wolfrace Wheels, has been confirmed as the official wheel supplier for the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM). ATS hardware will be found under the arches of the cars of all three OEMs competing in the series; Mercedes, Audi and BMW. ATS will supply 12x18in (front) and 13x18in (back) aluminium forged wheels, produced using a special alloy selected for its extreme strength and lightweight.

Bilstein’s Aston Martin, Subaru partnerships continue at Nürburgring

Following finishes in tenth in its 2013 debut appearance, and fifth last year, suspension supplier Bilstein and the Aston Martin Racing works team are to partner again at the 43rd edition of the ADAC Zurich 24-hour race at the Nürburgring (14-17 May 2015). The blue and yellow Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 will be equipped with the new Bilstein four-way MDS motorsport suspension. Bilstein will also appear with partner, Black Falcon, and the Subaru works team.

NGK continues motorsport involvement with M-Sport, Ferrari

NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd. has a long partnership with M-Sport and Marko Wowczyna, automotive director at NGK, has announced its continuation into the next season. “We are delighted to be continuing our successful relationship with M-Sport and after this encouraging start we look forward to helping the team throughout 2015.”

22 Formula Student teams from around the world have taken advantage of a technical partnership scheme with coatings specialist Zircotec

22 Formula Student teams from around the world are taking up a technical partnership scheme with coatings specialist Zircotec. The company will provide access to professional motorsport thermal management technology for use in their 2014 Formula Student cars. Zircotec stated that there are still places available in the scheme, encouraging more teams to apply.

British firm wins multi-year Japanese Super Formula transmissions contract

British parts supplier Ricardo has announced a multi-year deal as the sole source of racing transmissions for the Japanese Super Formula series. Mark Barge, managing director, Ricardo Performance Products comments: “Ricardo has a long standing relationship within Japanese motorsport further underpinning our reputation for designing, manufacturing and assembling high performance racing transmissions, combining technology and quality to provide highly competitive and highly durable transmission solutions to our partners around the world.”
