Netherlands-headquartered off-road tyre company Magna Tyres has appointed Latvian wholesaler SIA Latakko its exclusive distributor in the Baltic States region. The two companies had previously enjoyed what Magna calls a “steady and fruitful business cooperation” over a period of several years, and based on this positive experience both companies agreed an exclusive dealership in order to boost the sales of Magna mobile crane tyres, earthmover tyres and port handling tyres in the Baltic region, particularly in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
Magna Tyres Group has received OEM approval from Noell Mobile Systems, part of Terex Port Solutions, for its newest port handling tyre – the 16.00R25 Magna M-Straddle. With this approval, Noell Mobile Systems confirmed that this tyre can be fitted on Terex Noell Straddle Carriers. This acknowledgement means Magna Tyres will supply Terex a significant part of its annual straddle carrier tyre requirements in 2014 and thereafter.
Magna Tyres Group and tyre wholesaler Profil Plus have announced the establishment of a strategic relationship. The agreement, which begins in November 2013, relates to distribution and servicing of the Magna OTR tyre brand in France.
Netherlands-headquartered OTR, industrial and truck tyre company Magna Tyres Group has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification for its quality management system. Official certification audits at the Magna Tyres headquarters in Waalwijk were completed in March 2013.
Dutch industrial, off-the-road and commercial tyre manufacturer, Magna Tyres Group, has launched a renewed website at www.magnatyres.com. Employing the business’s new corporate imagery, the Magna Tyres website provides online visitors with a visual presentation of its whole product line, including off-the-road tyres, industrial tyres and truck tyres.
Dutch tyre firm Magna Tyres has announced that it is now an official preferred supplier to Terex Cranes. Such is the scope of the deal, all cranes produced by Terex at its Zweibücken, Germany and Montceau les Mines, France production lines are equipped with Magna Tyres as standard.
The deal may only have been announced now, but the cooperation between the two companies has been going for a few years already. Nevertheless the formal long term agreement was signed in January 2012.
