London-based company Enso Tyres has won the LA New Mobility Challenge 2021, an event co-hosted by CoMotion LA and Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) and supported by the UK Government. The judging panel awarded Enso for tyres that increase electric vehicle range while reducing both air pollution and micro-plastic tyre particulate matter pollution.
Yokohama Tire Corporation’s sponsorship of US Major League Baseball team the Los Angeles Angels extends to a full decade with the signing of a further agreement covering the 2018 to 2020 seasons. The new three-year agreement continues a partnership that began in 2011. Under the agreement, the Yokohama logo will be displayed at the Angels’ home stadium.
DriveRightData, the wheel and tyre data provider, has established a new testing facility based in Fullerton, Los Angeles, which opened in July. According to DriveRight, the majority of the world’s wheel production is shipped via LA, meaning the establishment of a testing facility close to the port is an “ideal location”.
