Verona-based supplier of large OTR tyres, Maitech Tire was one of the 530 exhibitors at the recent The Tire Cologne exhibition, held between 29 May and 1 June. Stars of the 84 square metre Maitech stand were two examples of the company’s new range of premium, all-steel radial OTR tyres; the MT111, making their exhibition debuts.

Maitech Tire will launch a new range of radial OTR tyres at The Tire Cologne. The new tyres will be displayed alongside other examples from its product range, including small bias construction, industrial and solid tyres on its 84sqm stand at Koelnmesse from 29 May to 1 June 2018.

Maitech Tire, the manufacturer of speciality, OTR, construction, mining and industrial tyres, has established a new, purpose-built European techno/commercial office at its headquarters in Verona, Italy. The company is holding a series of open days at its 16,000 square metre complex for selected customers, OEMs and companies from Maitech’s global network of dedicated partners.

Maxam adds iOS App for Apple devices

Maxam enters agricultural tyre market

Over the past 50 years, Luxembourg-based Maxam Tire has built up a reputation for the supply of quality, cost effective OTR radial, construction and industrial tyres, making a name for itself as a force in the off-the-road speciality tyre sector. At the start of 2015, the company broadened its product portfolio by offering the first of a new range of agricultural tyres; the Agrixtra MS951R. The new tyre is a radial, aimed at medium horsepower tractors and is available in nearly 40 sizes for rims from 24” up to 42”. It comes in aspect ratios of 85, 70 and 65 series, with the 65 series developed for applications at 65 km/h.

Maxam Tire, the specialist manufacturer of OTR and industrial tyres, has launched a new version of its app for all devices working under the Android system, such as Smartphones, Tablets and Phablets. It complements the existing Maxam app for iPad and incorporates the same features.

OTR brand, Maxam Tire showed 24 tyres from the company’s comprehensive range of radial OTR, construction and industrial tyres on a large stand in Hall 6. The MS401 dump truck tyre proved particularly hard to miss; the tyre has an overall diameter of 2.7 metres and weighs 1,497kgs.

Maxam at Conexpo

Maxam Tire personnel have recently returned from the USA, where the company took part in the Conexpo exhibition, held from 4-8 March in Las Vegas. Conexpo is one or the world’s premier shows for the construction, mining and earthmoving sectors, held once every three years and attracting over 2,400 exhibitors and more than 125,000 visitors over the five days of the show. The Maxam stand was 164 m2 (1800 sq. ft) in area and on show were 10 of the extensive ranges of Maxam construction and radial OTR tyres.

Maxam Tire has announced a new addition to its industrial tyre range; the MS702 STR (Standard) resilient, solid tyre. The new tyre is designed for forklift truck and industrial applications. According to the company, the intention is for the product to become the reference tyre in its segment.

New Head of Finance For MAI Group

MAI International has appointed Gianluca De Rosa as head of finance, effective 1 July 2010. In his new position, De Rosa will be responsible for all financial matters within the MAI Group. De Rosa (43) gained a degree in Economics, with honours, from the University of Verona and has subsequently held a number of senior financial positions in various business sectors, including a multinational food importer/exporter, a real estate business and as a chartered accountant. Said Ian Thomas, MAI Group CEO: "We are delighted to welcome Gianluca De Rosa to our senior management team and he brings a wealth of experience in his specialist field."

Uzmai Launches New All Steel Radial Mining Tyre

Uzmai, manufacturers of the Maitech range of all-steel radial OTR tyres, has launched an L5 smooth product mining tyre, the UM5S Minextra. The new tyre is available in five sizes: 17.5R25**L5S, 20.5R25**L5S, 23.5R25**L5S, 26.5R25L5S** and 29.5R25**L5S. According to the company, the UM5S Minextra casing can be remoulded two or three times as long as they are not significantly damaged.
