Hankook Tire signs MoU with leading Korean fleet management firm

Hankook Tire signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on 16 April with Korean fleet management service provider UB1st. The cooperative relationship between the two companies focuses on creating a new type of fleet management service by combining Hankook Tire’s offline service capabilities with vehicle data collected by UB1st’s platforms, such as UbiKhan.

Soo II Lee to lead Hankook Tire America

Career Tracks

As of mid-January 2020, Soo II Lee will become president of Hankook Tire America Corp. He will serve in this capacity alongside his existing remit of president and chief operating officer of Hankook Tire & Technology, an arrangement that will see him split his time between Hankook’s America headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee and the company’s global headquarters in Seoul, Korea.

Hankook Tire America appoints new president

Career Tracks

Hosung Suh has been named president of Hankook Tire America Corp. and will assume the position on 1 July. Announcing his appointment, Hankook Tire comments that Suh’s vast strategic planning experience at Hankook and in previous roles with companies in the US and Korea will allow him to grow Hankook Tire’s presence in the American market.
