Michelin honours top suppliers

Following an evaluation process based upon five criteria, Michelin has acknowledged nine of its best suppliers at the fifth edition of its Supplier Awards. The firms were evaluated for Sustainability, Innovation, Quality, Risk Management and Support provided during the crisis.

Michelin renews, expands its work with WWF France

The 2015-initiated collaboration between the Michelin Group and the French office of the World Wide Fund for Nature has been renewed for a further four years. The tyre maker will continue working with WWF France towards sustainability within the natural rubber market. In the coming four years, the partnership will further develop an existing pilot project in Indonesia and additionally open up the collaboration to include sustainable mobility and the protection of biodiversity.

Global sourcing solution: Michelin expands Ivalua collaboration

Company News

The Michelin Group already uses a solution from global spend management cloud provider Ivalua for the global management of its 5,000 contracts and 5 million invoices a year across 55 countries. The success of those projects has led Michelin to expand the relationship with Ivalua to cover the provision of a fully integrated source-contract process. Ivalua will provide a global sourcing solution that will automate and streamline sourcing processes across Michelin’s buyer teams in Europe, North America, South America and Asia.
