GSF Car Parts has taken delivery of a new Valeo branded van for its Stoke branch. The joint-branded livery on the Peugeot Bipper integrates GSF branding alongside key messages from Valeo. The global parts giant’s current ‘multi-specialist’ livery has been designed to reinforce the breadth of product range available to UK garages.

Teddington Cars Ltd, an authorised Ford service and repair agent, was eligible for entry into the prize draw after achieving an agreed ‘3-star’ target monthly spend through GSF, guaranteeing them a prize of up to £500 in Love2Shop vouchers.

GSF Car Parts say their recent Norwich branch open evening drew an “amazing proportion” of local garages, with many staying until after 22:00, socialising with GSF staff and some key suppliers. The event, which took place on Thursday 29 September, was held to celebrate extensive recent improvements which have seen both stock upgrades and a new sales office for the thriving branch.
GSF Car Parts has invested in 10 new VW Caddy vans to be used across the branch network. The vehicles will be added to the existing fleet rather than used as replacements, enabling more frequent local trade customer deliveries. The vans have been selected using criteria to evaluate a full range of factors including load capacity, fuel economy, purchase price and anticipated running cost – with VW Caddy scoring well across the board.

Bringing the store in-line with the company’s current corporate image, the project took roughly four weeks to complete. GSF anticipates reduced running costs thanks to lower power consumption and no more costly tube replacements.
GSF Car Parts has upgraded its retail store and counter at its Birmingham head office. The company said the upgrade provides improved access to the company’s extensive range of trade-level quality parts and consumables for local motorists. The company said the move was necessitated by growing queues; the new store area is more than twice the size, enabling staff to provide better, faster service to customers.
