Polish tyre wholesaler Latex and its subsidiary Hurtopony have taken on distribution of the Goodyear Farm Tire range. The four main centres in Ruda Slaska, Opole, Bydgoszcz and Sosnowiec will supply tyres to the Latex national network.
Goodyear Farm Tires will unveil a new product and display its exclusive Low Sidewall range when it heads to Germany for Agritechnica next week. Goodyear Farm Tires will provide a significant boost to UK and European farmers in 2022 by offering an enhanced supply of radial tyres. These will come from production in Turkey, a site that has traditionally made cross-ply tyres but is now about to benefit from a new plant. From early 2022, Goodyear will source radial agricultural tyres there too, initially offering the UK and European markets 20 key radial sizes. This figure should double by the end of the year.
A spectacular array of vintage tractors will take to the road in Scotland this coming weekend in aid of cancer charities as the Mearns Vintage Vehicle Club will be staging a Tractor Run from Laurencekirk to Brechin on Sunday, July 18. The run will start from road haulage and transport business Douglas Mitchell Limited in Laurencekirk at 9.30am and a convoy of around 60 tractors will make its way to the Brechin depot of leading Scottish tyre specialists Soltyre.

Goodyear Farm Tires has released a new tyre for compact tractors, a product it says will be “suitable for any job on the farm.” With the UK and European launch of the R14, Goodyear Farm Tires offers a hybrid of agricultural, turf and industrial tread patterns and both radial and cross-ply constructions. The R14 range covers a total of 17 different sizes.

In order to prevent damage from ‘friendly fire’, Titan International Inc. has issued a statement distancing itself from the spat between US President Donald Trump and the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Titan wants to make it clear that there is absolutely no link between it and the alleged Goodyear diversity training document that’s circulating on the internet.
