Hankook comments on S&P Global Gold Class Sustainability

Hankook has been certified S&P Global Gold Class in S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook 2022, making the tyre manufacturer one of the top companies in the US financial services provider’s ranking. Based on the S&P Dow Jones World Sustainability Index, the yearbook is regarded as one of the world’s foremost sustainability indices. Of the 7,554 companies evaluated for the 2022 yearbook, 75 received gold, 89 silver, and 106 bronze awards for outstanding achievement. Hankook president and CEO Sooil Lee said, “The award is a testament to our commitment to a more sustainable future. To further drive our growth as a global acting tyre company, we plan to strengthen our social, environmental and financial activities globally.”

Pirelli awarded FIA 3-star environmental accreditation

The governing body of world motorsport has awarded Pirelli’s motorsport division three stars as part of its Environmental Accreditation Programme. This is the highest score that the FIA awards within the programme and gives only to participants who have demonstrated the best environmental standards in a series of measures.

Pirelli claims DJSI sector leadership

Pirelli shares news of its confirmation as “world leader” in Sustainability in the Automobiles and Components sector of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) World and Europe indices. This status comes courtesy of RobecoSam and S&P Dow Jones’ annual review of the indices that will apply from 23 September.

Pirelli a DSJI Industry Leader 2018

Pirelli has been named leader of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DSJI) World and Europe review in the Auto Components section. The tyre maker gained a total score of 81 points in the annual review of the indices conducted by RobecoSam and S&P Dow Jones, compared with a sector median of 32.

Bridgestone Corporation has received a Silver Class Sustainability Award 2017 from sustainable investment specialist RobecoSAM. This is the first time the company has received this honour.

Pirelli named segment leader in Dow Jones Sustainability indices

For the eighth consecutive year, Pirelli has been nominated the world leader in the ATX Auto Components sector of the Dow Jones Sustainability indices, with a score of 85/100 compared to a sector average of 48/100. The results of the annual Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) review were announced on 11 September by S&P Dow Jones Indices, one of the world’s largest providers of financial market indices, and RobecoSAM, the investment specialist focused exclusively on sustainability investing.
