Klarius strengthens Staffordshire University partnership

The UK’s largest aftermarket manufacturer of emissions control components, Klarius Products showed its support for Staffordshire University by taking part in the institution’s Business Breakfast during National Apprenticeship Week. The company said this underlines the company’s commitment to place education at forefront of its strategy.

Oxford Universities Motorsport Foundation rally car fits Klarius exhaust

Preparing rounded future professionals for the demands of motorsport is often best achieved through a mixture of education and experience. Hence Oxford Universities Motorsport Foundation (OUMF) offers exactly these sorts of opportunities to young people, running a multitude of classic cars in some of the world’s most prestigious racing events. Motorsport isn’t kind to vehicle components though, so when the OUMF required a new racing exhaust for its Mercedes 380 SL rally car project, the UK’s largest manufacturer of aftermarket exhausts, Klarius Products Ltd, was ready to offer a solution.

BMW privateers select Klarius exhausts for the grid

With solid body control, decent grip, rear wheel drive and 50/50 weight distribution it was only a matter of time before someone took the BMW 1 Series racing. It is no surprise then that champions of affordable motorsport 750 Motorclub and 116 Racing are gearing up for a new endurance championship starring BMW’s entry level model. Thanks to a deal with UK manufacturer Klarius Products, every car on the grid will sport a lightweight Klarius racing exhaust.

Racing is competitive at every level and so any advantage counts, but to add 25hp to a car that started with only 122hp with one component change is highly significant. Klarius Products has expanded its range with more than 100 new exhausts, catalytic converters (CATs), diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and accessories. The latest new-to-range list details every component released by Klarius during Q2 2017, which bolsters its 10,000-plus product range to support an ever-larger range of vehicles. The UK based manufacturer of aftermarket emissions components has an in-house R&D centre, enabling it to update its product range “on a daily basis,” it states.

Klarius has added more than 250 new exhausts, catalytic converters (CATs), diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and accessories to its 10,000 piece product range during the first half of 2017. The full list from the UK’s largest aftermarket manufacturer of emissions components is available now. The new products highlight the company’s commitment to servicing the full range of consumer aftermarket segments, incorporating saloons, hatchbacks, commercial vans, SUVs, people carriers, luxury cars and superminis of varying age. 95 additions to Klarius range in December

Following the expansion of its R&D department, Klarius has announced the release of 95 new emissions parts to its 10,000-plus item product range. The new additions include type-approved catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters, exhausts and related fittings. IMI approves latest Klarius Products training

Klarius has backed up the quality of its training after teaming up with the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). The IMI visited the exhaust manufacturer to validate its latest emissions product training modules. The professional institute for those working in the motor industry offers accreditation for educational courses to help increase knowledge and quality within the industry. Klarius says this mission statement is closely aligned with Klarius’ approach to the market of providing education and supplying high quality type-approved components.
