BM Catalysts opens new UK site to meet continuing demand

BM Catalysts

UK manufacturer of catalytic converters, DPFs and front pipes, BM Catalysts, has kickstarted the year with the opening of an additional UK production plant, as part of the company’s ongoing investment to meet customer demand. The purposely developed facility, based in Stoke, will enable BM Catalysts to increase its manufacturing capacity, highlighting the company’s ethos for continual investment in its supply of products to UK and European markets.

Klarius adds 33 new products

A further 33 products have entered the Klarius emissions control range, including catalytic converters (CATs) and diesel particulate filters (DPFs) for multiple models of the Ford Focus. All components in the Klarius range are available with a Fit First Time guarantee, a two-year warranty and next morning delivery to stockists and distributors.

TerraClean training takes the lead on DPFs

TerraClean, part of Randstad Ltd, has held a series of one-day training courses for more than 100 garages on the growing opportunities of diesel particulate filters (DPFs). Hosted by TerraClean specialist Gary Wood, the sessions are aimed at supporting independent garages on the effective diagnosis of DPF / EGR related problems and how to solve them using the range of bespoke TerraClean products available.

Klarius explains exhaust system back pressure: video

UK exhaust manufacturer Klarius has posted a series of web training videos to YouTube, explaining the nuances of exhaust design, and such necessities to engines as back pressure. Since back pressure is controlled by the design of the entire exhaust system – including diameter, shape and length of the exhaust and any baffles present in the muffler – Klarius states that detailed design and testing is a necessity. The company manufactures more than two million exhaust systems every year in the UK.
