Michelin introducing updated EvoBib

After receiving a SIMA gold medal for innovation in late 2016 for its 2-in-1 tyre, Michelin is launching a new version of the EvoBib. The upgraded Michelin EvoBib will be available from 1 April, initially in the familiar VF 710/70 R 42 and VF 600/70 R 30 sizes suited to tractors between 200 and 300 hp, however Michelin intends to expand the range in 2023 by adding new dimensions for more powerful tractors.

In addition to experiencing an extraordinary couple of years that began with a virus and then mutated into a succession of rising input prices, they also need to think far beyond the traditional product development cycle. Legislation and end user expectations are driving manufacturers to explore new materials and achieve greater sustainability, while at the same time evolving technology means a growing focus upon connectivity and services. We recently caught up with Paolo Pompei to find out how Trelleborg Wheel Systems (TWS) is addressing these key issues.

White is the new black for Massey Ferguson and Trelleborg Wheel Systems. The tyre maker has kitted out Massey Ferguson’s MF Next Concept tractor with a special version of its Trelleborg TM1000 Progressive Traction. These concept tyres were manufactured using a white compound that contains absolutely no carbon. The TM1000 tyres are mounted on advanced extra light rims integrated with CTIS+ Inside, the central tyre inflation pressure system Trelleborg has co-developed with Dana.

Trelleborg & Dana unveiling CTIS at Agritechnica

Trelleborg Wheel Systems and Dana Incorporated have jointly developed a revolutionary Central Tire Inflation (CTIS) system for the agricultural machinery industry. The concept of the new CTIS system will be displayed at Agritechnica 2019 next month. Named CTIS+ Inside, the full OEM integrated central pressure control system will enable tractor drivers to inflate or deflate tyre pressures directly from the tractor cabin.
