Cooper’s rallycross supply increases global awareness of UHP products

Cooper Tire’s involvement in rallycross as official tyre supplier and sponsor of the FIA World Rallycross Championship over the past four years is helping it to improve its European exposure as a supplier of high performance tyres, the manufacturer states. It describes the expertise it gains from the series as a critical part of its ability to produce tyres that can be pushed to the toughest of limits, but the growing popularity of the series, including dedicated coverage up 550 per cent compared to 2013 and reaching younger audiences via mixed media coverage, also provides a hotbed for Cooper to display its performance credentials to new audiences across the globe.

Cooper challenges Arsenal players to footballing accuracy test

Cooper Tire Europe has produced a new video with the help of its partner, Arsenal Football Club. Midfielders, Santi Cazorla and Mesut Özil, and forward, Lukas Podolski were asked to show their accuracy skills on a bespoke structure topped with four of Cooper’s Zeon CS Sport performance tyres. A secondary test involved aiming through a single tyre, hung from the top right of the goal mouth. The video is available to view below.

Cooper and ambassador Coulthard on the road to Hell

Exclusive FIA World Rallycross Championship tyre supplier Cooper Tires is taking a trip to Hell with its ultra-high performance brand ambassador, David Coulthard. The 13-time grand prix winner will attend the Norwegian round of the revived series in Hell, near Trondheim on 14-15 June. Coulthard will attend the event with Cooper, andwhile this occasion will not see Coulthard compete, he did not rule out participation in some form. The series championship has already attracted some big names, including ex-FIA World Rally Champion Petter Solberg, reigning British Touring Car Champion Andrew Jordan and Top Gear USA presenter and X Games star, Tanner Foust.

Cooper adds new sizes to A-rated Zeon CS Sport UHP tyre range

Cooper Tire Europe has announced an extension to its range of Zeon CS Sport UHP tyres. The five new sizes – four XL and one standard – are all rated A for wet grip on the EU tyre label, meaning that the CS Sport range continues to offer an A-rating across all sizes and speed variants.
