German oil and additive specialist Liqui Moly has launched Tornador Gun, a cleaning gun that uses compressed air. Many car cleaning experts swear by it. “Now our Universal Cleaner can produce even better results,” says David Kaiser, head of research and development at Liqui Moly.
New research has shown that just over a third of young adults in the UK have never cleaned their own car, citing the effort it takes and being unable to do a ‘good job’ as the top reasons why. Furthermore it was found that those that do pay to have their car cleaned usually shell out £16 each time. This means that many in this demographic will spend £192 each year to have their cars cleaned ‘professionally’.

Celebrating its 3rd anniversary this month, EDT has recently expanded the business to include garages in Coventry, Manchester, Sheffield, Bristol and Newcastle. The business is now seeking partners in Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, North and West Wales and Central Scotland.
