Tyron Runflat MultiBands to be fitted on additional UK police force vehicles

Tyron’s reports that its Runflat MultiBands have been selected to keep the fast pursuit vehicles of the Cumbria Constabulary and Cheshire Constabulary police safe in the event of a tyre blow-out at speed. The selection will see Tyron MultiBands rolled out to in-service pursuit vehicles that previously had run-flat tyres fitted.

Cheshire Police join TyreSafe

Cheshire police force joins TyreSafe

Cheshire’s police force has joined the county’s Fire and Rescue Service as a member of TyreSafe, months after the latter emergency service was made TyreSafe’s 2013 emergency services award winner. “We are delighted to welcome Cheshire Police on board and look forward to developing some highly effective initiatives with them,” comments Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe.
