Dunlop to tackle new challenge at 1st EWC 8 Hours of Sepang

Following a successful Bol d’Or 24hr, Dunlop heads to the inaugural 2019-20 FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) 8 Hours of Sepang. Dunlop showed the adaptability and consistency of its tyre range in tricky weather conditions at the Bol d’Or 24hr as Team Suzuki Endurance Racing Team (SERT) took top honours. The manufacturer says the Sepang International Circuit will pose a new test for all 20 bikes utilising Dunlop tyres, with sweeping corners and wide straights, including a 927 metre back straight, at the 5.5km circuit.

Continental sponsors Tour de France 2019

Continental has agreed to sponsor the Tour de France as one of the Tour’s five Main Partners – alongside LCL, E.Leclerc, Krys and Skoda. As a result of the deal, the Continental logo will appear on the arch above the finish line as well as on the “flamme rouge” arch, one kilometre from the finish. As a further benefit of the enhanced visibility, a representative of Continental will present the trophy to the stage winner on the podium.

Cambrian Tyres importing Anlas Tyres for bikes, scooters

Starting in November 2016, Cambrian Tyres have begun distribution in the UK of Turkish two-wheel specialist tyre brand, Anlas. Already familiar to many in Europe with a history stretching back 40 years, Anlas manufactures a wide range of tyres from its factory in Duzce, between Istanbul and Ankara. The current Anlas range includes tyre applications for commuters and urban motorcycles; lightweight bikes; classic machines; large adventure motorcycles; and scooters and mopeds. Cambrian says the Anlas range offers riders excellent quality and value for money from a well-established European brand.

ZC Rubber’s Anji factory starts making tyres

ZC Rubber’s new bike tyre factory in Anji, Zhejiang province, has commenced production. The Anji factory is associated with an investment of up to US$620 million and covers 860,000 square metres, focusing on the motorcycle tyres, e-bike tyres and inner tubes etc. Shen Jinrong, president of ZC Rubber, says that the factory‘s output value amounts to more than $1 billion.
